A young pileated woodpecker (Dryocopus pileatus) keeps an eye out while waiting for its parents to return.
After about 23 hours of work, I think I’m done with it? I say that now, but I’m sure in a week I’ll find lots of things that annoy me that I want to fix. I’m tempted to use this one as a postcard mailer for editors/publishers/art directors, but I know in a week those little things that annoy me will probably make me change my mind. :p
